⚠️ Mobile Incompatibility
Important: This plugin is not compatible with Obsidian Mobile (iOS or Android).
It was designed for desktop use only, due to technical limitations of the mobile API and filesystem access.
📦 Installation
Community Plugins (recommended)
- In Obsidian, go to Settings > Community Plugins > Browse
- Search for "The Spirit's Book"
- Click Install, then Enable
Manual installation
- Download or clone this repository
- Copy the
spirits-bookfolder to your.obsidian/plugins/directory - Copy
datafolder to your.obsidian/plugins/spirits-bookdirectory - Restart Obsidian and enable the plugin

🧠 About The Spirit's Book
“The Spirit's Book” (1857) is the foundational work of Spiritism, authored by Allan Kardec. It contains 1,019 questions and answers about life, God, the soul, reincarnation, and the spirit world.
This plugin helps you study its content with modern tools and flexible navigation.
🔧 Configuration
You can:
- Change the display language
- View a random question
- Favorite or unfavorite any item
- Search by number, topic, or word
