Obsidian Fold Anywhere

A plugin for Obsidian that allows you to fold any text anywhere.

Usage

• Commands
  • Fold Anywhere: Fold Between Start and End Marks - Fold the selected text
  • Fold Anywhere: Unfold Between Start and End Marks - Unfold the selected text
  • Fold Anywhere: Mark as Start - Mark the current pos as the start of a fold
  • Fold Anywhere: Mark as End - Mark the current pos as the end of a fold
  • Fold Anywhere: Fold Selected Text - Fold the selected text
  • Fold Anywhere: Remove All Marks - Remove all marks
• Context menu in editor
  • Fold Selected Text - Fold the selected text
  • Mark as Start - Mark the current pos as the start of a fold
  • Mark as End - Mark the current pos as the end of a fold
• Mouse
  • Click - Fold the selected text
  • Ctrl + Click - Remove selected mark

Installation

• Not ready for market yet
• Can be installed via the Brat plugin
• Manual installation

1. Find the release page on this github page and click
2. Download the latest release zip file
3. Unzip it, copy the unzipped folder to the obsidian plugin folder, make sure there are main.js and manifest.json files in the folder
4. Restart obsidian (do not restart also, you have to refresh plugin list), in the settings interface to enable the plugin
5. Done!
