This is a plugin is a modified version of the Obsidian Wikipedia Plugin by Jonathan Miller.
Setup/Installation
In settings, you will need your own api key, which you can get here.
Usage
- Run the "Get Wordnik data for search term" command to search for a word and paste in the data at your cursor location.
- Run the "Get Wordnik data for active note title" command to paste the data for the title of the current note.
Customization
Customize the formatting of the data pasted in by customizing the Wordnik Extract Template option in the plugin's settings.
For example, you can remove the related words from the data.
You can also set the maximum number of definitions that the plugin with paste into the editor.
