The Colorful Note Background plugin applies subtle colored backgrounds to notes based on their folder location or frontmatter metadata. Define rules that match folder names or key-value pairs in frontmatter and the plugin tints the background accordingly. Rules are evaluated in order, with the first match winning. Each rule lets you set a hex color and transparency level - low alpha values create gentle visual cues without overwhelming your content. Reorder rules to adjust priority or remove them as needed. Forked from the Colorful Note Borders plugin but uses backgrounds instead of borders.
